M. Travis Hayes is a Partner at Lile & Hayes, PLLC in Naples, Florida. Travis focuses his practice on the fields of estate planning, estate and trust administration, probate and trust litigation, and business succession planning. Travis is a frequent speaker and author on estate planning and estate and trust administration topics.
Travis received his B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 2001, and his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2004. After graduating from law school, Travis received a Masters of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law in 2005.
Travis is a member of the Executive Council for the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law (“RPPTL”) Section of The Florida Bar. Travis is the Vice-Chair of the RPPTL Probate Law and Procedure Committee, the Vice-Chair of the RPPTL Digital Assets and Information Study Committee, and the Vice-Chair of the RPPTL Legislation Committee. Travis is currently the Co-Chair of the Probate Rules Committee for The Florida Bar.
Travis is a graduate of the inaugural class of the Florida Fellows Institute of the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel. He has received the AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Travis has also been named by Florida Trend magazine in its Legal Elite edition as a top “Up & Comer” in Florida. Travis was selected as one of the Top 40 under 40 Trusts and Estates attorneys in the State of Florida for 2015 and 2016 by the American Society of Legal Advocates.
Travis is a past Chair of the Trusts & Estates Section of the Collier County Bar Association. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Collier County Bar Association and the Board of Directors of the Collier County Bar Foundation.
